At LIBS, we bring people together, to share ideas, build careers and celebrate success. LIBS is free to join, and welcoming to everyone with an interest in Ireland.
What started as a discussion around a kitchen table in 2009 has grown into a thriving community that's now home to thousands of Irish professionals here in London. Since then, LIBS has gone from a handful of gatherings to a long-standing network that's full of energy, talent and ambition.
Over the years we've welcomed some of Ireland's most recognisable leaders - from the late Peter Sutherland, Mary Robinson, and Willie Walsh, to Ronan Dunne, Bernard Looney, and Simon Harris - as well as the next generation shaping politics, culture, sport and business.
But what makes us proudest are the friendships started over a pint, the careers sparked by a new connection, and the opportunities that carried on long after our events.
Today, our membership is large, diverse and completely free. We're here to support careers, celebrate achievements and create a space where everyone feels they belong, whether you're Irish or simply share an interest in Ireland.
